Meet the team
Hesteyri Horses are comprised of Meg and Lauren, based in Gloucestershire. They are a family owned horse training yard dedicated to helping all horse’s and ponies.
“We are horse trainers with a difference. As well as our usual backing, training and competing, we also work with a lot of rescue and ‘problem’ horses. This started because almost all of our own horses were rescues or rejects of some form and we became known for being the girls who would work with any horse and make sure they all have as many chances as they need.”

Watch our amazing horses, permanent residents and rescues for rehoming! Featured in this video are Minnie, Phoenix, Kerry, Swift, Flicker! All of whom have had a troublesome past in some way!
We focus on giving all horses a chance. This gives us the opportunity to not only help horses who have run out of soft places to land and really need us, but also produce horses up through the levels of whatever suits them best. We are well known for our work with rescue horses and we strive to not let their pasts hold them back but we have also been lucky to work with amazing and talented horses.
